I received an email a from parishioner this week (who permitted us to print this but wanted to remain anonymous). In it he said:
I was looking through a book, and I came across a paragraph that explains that a quantum physicist recognizes that to observe an experiment is to affect its outcome.
It made me think of Mass in the parking lot (of course this implies the sanctuary also). If we approach the place of worship without being mindful of God’s presence, we approach the experience in vain.
I pray that, as we join together this Sunday to celebrate our ministry together, we all be mindful of God’s presence among us now and in our years to come.
