In 2025, St. Francis piloted the Thanksgiving Basket service project. The pilot was a great success! We helped local families at Eureka Elementary School struggling with food insecurity.
Each family received a complete, ready to make Thanksgiving meal and gift card to buy a turkey. We are building on that success in 2026 by asking St. Francis to support families at Eureka Elementary and Pacific High School. Our goal is to help ten families this year, five at each school.
Join us in helping these families by buying the food listed on the Thanksgiving Basket Shopping List and bringing the items to church by Sunday, November 15th. We’ll wrap up each basket for delivery by school staff. Sign-up on the bulletin board or email Anna Mackey or Deacon David. Contact information for both is available in church office.
