Welcome to St. Francis'!
We worship at 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. on Sundays at 616 Stockell Dr.(the Masonic Lodge).
Children are always welcome in worship. There is a quiet play area, activity bags and toys for kids to use as they wish. Childcare for babies/toddlers is available during the 10:15 a.m. service if desired.
Christian education for children is available year-round during the first part of the 10:15 a.m. service. Children rejoin the adults in worship for communion (which we celebrate each Sunday), the bread and cup representing Jesus Christ's body and blood.
All are welcome at the communion table.
If you don't wish to receive communion that's fine too.
You may come forward to receive a blessing or you may remain at your seat.
If you've never been to an Episcopal worship service, don't worry. The point is to praise God. Everything else is just details, and we don't sweat those.
Dress comfortably. Shorts, sandals, motorcycle helmets - they're all fine.
When we say "All are welcome," we mean ALL -- no exceptions.
There's coffee and conversation after both 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
After 10:15 a.m. there are also (free) snacks.
At 11:55 a.m. we have a 35-minute education program for adults. The listing is here.
